I must be one of the few people finding this tournament predictable and dull.

Lesser nation sets up to defend and plays on the counter. Spends the last 20 minutes camped in their own half, playing for fouls and disrupting the game.

Predictable in terms of leaser teams doing as you say but not dull imo. There's not much else a lesser side can do is there? The worst display so far for me was the French, they spent the entire game playing for fouls and feigning injury to get players booked/sent off. That's one of the tournament favourites

I think it’s the way they’re forever branded as the greatest football nation on the planet, despite the fact that through many of our lifetimes, the likes of Germany, Italy, Spain, France and even the Argies have actually played more interesting football with less of the tiresome media hyperbole
