A lifelong affliction
Resulting in them now being my local team.
Supporting England in major tournaments however....a bridge too far.

Re: What are you drinking for the game?
Just been drinking little bottles of Becks for the games at home, because I don't want to over do it...
Only issue is, they go down very easily, especially in this hot weather. Recycling is overflowing and I am off to get another few packs tonight.

Same. Perhaps for the best that there's a fair distance between me and other people in the office today. Plus I'm near the kitchen, so I can always blame the twentysomtething dorises who like to microwave eggs for breakfast.sicknote wrote:My head hurts

I have to say, despite 2 dumps, my guts are actually getting worse, not better. Just dropped a proper rancid egg/dead rat blend at my desk. Might have to go do some crop-dusting in a minute.

For those reasons alone, Guinness was a poor choice, and will not be considered for future selection.

Re: What are you drinking for the game?
I am in France, so popped off to the supermarket before the game and bought a load of 25cl lagers. My idea was that i would not drink as many, since the bottles were small. I ended up doing the whole box during 90 minutes, and was forced to switch to the girlfriends French Cider (6,5%). My head is killing me.
All worth it though!

A few Sagres Bohemias and a few more Super Bock IPAs, I'm quite looking forward to it.

Nice thinking. Fosters is my go to “lemonade substitute” beer when it’s hot.e17 wrote:Yeah mate but I’m saving the Radical Road, Spitfire and Serra Nevada’s for the evening

Re: What are you drinking for the game?
My host gave me some tokes on a joint today. And 8 beers, and some cider. And some gin.
I don’t feel well.
