Made up for Japan. They played some good stuff second half, against a bunch of cheating little dicks.

Clear red card, he stuck his arm out and stopped the ball going in the goal.

If you don't give reds for those players will be doing it every game and chancing that the other team doesn't score the pen.

I didn’t expect the South American teams to do well in Russia but also not look quite this bad.

This shouldn't and doesn't come into things under the laws of the game. As someone previously posted, in order for the player to escape a red card when giving away a penalty in such a circumstance, is if they have made a legitimate attempt at winning the ball.
In this instance both the penalty and the red were just.
brothernero wrote:Silly perhaps, but how can there only be 1 minute stoppage time? It took nearly 3 minutes to get the penalty and red card sorted, there has been 2 goals and a substitution.

Should be at least 3 minutes.
One of my absolute hates in football is firstly the incorrect time being added on and then further to that, when there is extra stoppages within the extra time period that gets completely ignored.

I've seen games where there have been 6 subs, 3 goals, a red card, injuries and a penalty in the second half, yet only 3 minutes has been added on. Then in that 3 minutes, a player feigns injury for a good minute and half, yet the ref blows up bang on 93mins
In such an instance, 90 seconds added time have been played when realistically it should have run to around 97mins.

Today's game, for example, there were 2 first half goals and it took at least 2 minutes for that penalty to be taken. How on earth can there only be 1 minute added on?!!

It's especially infuriating when you have a bet on and you're just waiting for 1 more corner or perhaps a late card.
