Neymar now in full meltdown mode.
Oh please let Costa Rica get a late late winner.

Good decision. Neymar needs to learn not to go down every time he's touched.

Another hacking by the Costa Rican defender missed.

Looking at the replay again, it is quite clear that Neymar was shot, punched, had his hair pulled, hacked and kicked.
Should have been two penalties.
I'm just pleased he is still able to carry on playing.

They're a right set of cynical slags too.

Neymar should be off. Yellow for the dive then another for dissent.

Ref hasn't had a grip of this game at all. Farcial how Costa Rica commit a foul then have 2 of their own players on the floor clutching their face.
Should be adding 49 minutes of additional time after this. Not that I'd want to watch it mind.

Just had a embarrassing double "roll around on the floor clutching your head at the slightest hint of contact" from Costa Rica.
Again, I'd be happy if VAR was used for nothing else except yellow carding this sort of crap. This is not what people pay to watch football for.

Despite all the nonsense, Marcello is a very good player.

He's decent going forward. Essentially, he's not a defender at all and is very suspect defensively.
Puff is right, despite being deplorable c****, Brazil have deserved this.

You've got to wonder though how a team with Neymar, Firminho, Coutinho, Willian and Jesus up front struggles to score.

He's the same as Dani Alves was - great in a team that dominates possession and attacks all the time because he's really more of a second winger and not so great at defending.bristolhammerfc wrote:Despite all the nonsense, Marcello is a very good player.
Stick him left back for us last season in place of Masuaku and he would get found out.

First game, The Sun gave Neymar the star man award.
They'll probably give it to him again now after a decent 15min spell and a tap in.

Re: Brazil v Costa Rica - Match thread ~ Group E
IMO - Marcelo is decent at defending in 1 on 1 situations but seems to struggle when he has to sit back and form part of an organised back 4.
