#32 Poland 0-3 Colombia ~ Group H

Post by Puff Daddy »

If you haven't seen Poland yet, believe me they are the worst team at these finals. They are truly dismal, so I'll leave you brave souls to witness for yourselves how putrid they are

This game is well worth a watch.
Can Lewandowski do the business.
Did we miss out by not getting Bacca.
Which of the trio of Arsenal connected goalkeepers is going to make the **** up that eliminates his team from the competition.
I will be tuning in.

If Columbia go out tonight expect one or two of their players to be shot dead inside a couple of weeks

Poland scored loads of goals in qualifying, but the other day against a lively but pretty average Senegal, they were utterly clueless and awful to watch , completely clueless and rudderless. Admittedly down to ten men against Japan, Colombia looked a poor team too. None of the teams in this group will trouble England and to be honest, I think we will hand out a bit of hiding to whoever it is we face from this group

Cuardrado is too deep and wide for me, a player of that quality you want further up the pitch running at defenders causing carnage.

They had to go through two rounds of qualifying. First of all, a group of four teams playing all home and away in a group consisting of themselves, Costa Rica, Haiti and Jamaica, in which the top two teams from that group, which were Panama and Costa Rica qualified and they finished second behind Costa Rica. They then joined a larger group of nations, Mexico , Costa Rica, Honduras, USA and Trinidad and Tobago. They finished third in that group and thus qualified for the finals, winning just three of their total of ten games, but crucially for them, they also only lost three and only lost 1-0 away to Mexico and held them to a 0-0 in Panama

Kind of feel sorry for Poland.
We do know what it's like.

F***ing hell, I thought something terrible had happened to Shakira.
Thank god, it was only Carlos Valderrama..

Not watching the match, but what is the Polish manager doing, standing there on the sidelines looking totally bemused? I feel for the poor Polish fans who have travelled there in such huge numbers and have to watch that. Poor, poor bastards, yet another hopeless manager who is going to get the boot in a few days
