Yes - Argentina have been seriously dreadful and Nigeria come into the game off an improved and very well deserved win vs a fairly stout Icelandic team, Nigeria take this one 2-1 for me.

I can’t see the Argies slipping up a third time. They’ll sneak through and lose to France in the next round imo

Come on The Super Eagles! :scarfer:
Mind you, if Iceland were to win, a draw in this game sends both out, so they've both got to go for it!
Should be a good game...BBC1 7pm.

Head says Argentina are poorly structured, lack of tactics, odd player and system. heart says they have so much attacking talent one of them has to pull something out the bag. If they play a normal system with Banega and Le Celso in the middle they will win, whether they do that will remain to be seen.

I heard on the radio that it might actually be the players picking the team for this one?

The super eagles are gonna smash em.

They deserve to, for that home kit alone.

Argies look a shambles right now, I have the feeling Nigeria will win this. I was going to use "shock" till I realised that they way it's going it would be a shock if Messi's lot win.

To quote 'Paddy O Hammer', "I have no idea how this match will go" and I genuinely don't

Armani, Mercado, Tagliafico, Mascherano, Rojo, Otamendi, Banega, Enzo Perez, Di María, Higuain, Messi.

The most normal, balanced line up for them, get your money on the Argies, took three games but they have finally seen sense

So, all 3 teams have a chance of going through.
I'd say in order of best chance, I'd say:
Nigeria - only need a win or a draw (so long as Iceland don't win by 3 clear goals)
Argentina - have to win by more goals than Iceland, if they win
Iceland - have to win by at least 3 goals & Nigeria not to win

Fair play to the argies with their national anthem, the crowd seemed to enjoy themselves, I’m guessing there’s no words though as not one player was singing, the least they could have done is all bounce up and down like the fans were

Jesus. Maradona looks demented. Who the hell could perform with that psycho watching. Anyhow, looks like a weight was lifted from Leo when he scored. Great goal. Good match.

These will now be one of the favorites with a normal team and tactics, Banega pulling the strings is delightful

Obvious result is obvious. They were never going out of the world cup in the group stages.
