Can we see Maradonnas fat little face as the tears roll down his pudgy cheeks please?

I thought Argentina while not great were still sort of it in till Perez went off for Aguero and then they played a formation with no defence, no midfielder while only one down with still a while to go. God knows how there wasn't a red for the Argies, Aguero did himself no shame when he came on and showed why he should've started.

That Rojo foul/penalty is even worse when looked back at, Mbappe has gone past him but is still heading to the corner of the box not the goal. Mental defending

What a fantastic game!

My first WC that I remember was Mexico '70 and, although my memory has probably played tricks over the years, it seems like there were regular games like that - usually involving Brazil or Italy.

Pavards strike (and Nachos for Spain) were almost, almost as good as Nobles volley.

Almost.

Crazy here in the south of France. All the car horns going off. Fantastic game. My partner just told me they were in the same class at school in north east Paris as Mbappe’s dad Wilfried.

Not a nation I love to see fail more than the Argentine scum.
I love the French, the Germans, etc. But all of the 5 Argentinians I have met in my life have been insufferable cockwombles.

Very noble, and tax deductable!
