Post by sicknote »

Can’t see this one in here, apologies if it is

Living in France , it’s looking like a shut down at 4 this afternoon, and even air traffic control have a strike organised to ease things

Anyway just wanted to say

Allez les bleus !!!

No, I don't think it is. I think this is probably the best tie of the last 16 matches and I can see goals a plenty in this one. It might take extra time to determine the winner, but I do see a great game in prospect. I can't decide who I think will win, but edging towards France, something like a 3-2

Even though I backed France pre tournament, I fancy Argentina to nick this one.

No logic as to why, just an inkling.

Pavon starts up front! Pretty incredible when you consider

Higuain
Aguero
Dybala
Icardi
Gomez
Ferrerya

Though his movement and pace might be beneficial

Pavard at right back again, Di Maria must fancy his chances if he can get it together

Just watched Messi diving to get a free kick. Don't know why someone so talented, feels the need to cheat.

I would love for England to get Argentina in the final, and for us to win it fair and square to show Maradona how it's done properly. However...I also want to see the vile, cheating, utterly despicable excuse for a human being in tears at the earliest opportunity.

Allez les bleus!

Penalty to France! Great turn of pace from Mbappe and a proper shove from Rojo.

Griezmann steps up and...scores.

Mbappe gives his match fees to a disabled kids charity because he doesn’t feel he should be paid to represent France. Frankly, our squad should feel honoured to do the same.

I have a feeling this could end up being a bit of a rout. Argentina just don’t match up. And with Messi having to deal with Kante and Matuidi in his shadow, it could be a long match for the Argies.

How thick is the Argie defence? Second penalty and a clear trip on the French striker. I'll discipline is what it is.

Edit: wasn't a second penalty, though it should have been.

The Argentinian defence really can't deal with Mbappe...he is tearing them all new ones!

Also, what a pass from Pogba.
