Harry Kane

Post by stu1 »

I thought I'd start this thread due to the thread on the general discussion being locked by a mod who seems to not be sharing the feel good factor of England finally winning a penalty shoot out, inspired by this man's captains performance. :?

Anyway as we were, apparently Kane is only worth £40m and doesn't do much apart from score the odd goal...... thoughts?

Tell me about it, we had a good discussion going and then the thread gets locked, rather pedantic moderating to say the least.

I honestly think he was - no rationale for it just a gut feeling he'd have go on to be outstanding

I really rated Ashton as well, genuinely gutting we never got to see how good he was over a long period, the fact he was able to hold his own in the Premiership while in pain and having limited mobility says everything though. Sure he sees a lot of himself in Kane.

The boy just needs some one on one coaching from Sir Carlton, then he'll be the finished article

Would you give him a round of applause if we won the World Cup?

What a weird question

Lineker and Gazza playing for Spurs after Italia 90 meant nothing. Why would anyone NOT cheer the bloke if England won the World Cup?

Great player.

I think there's a bit of the flat track bullies about him though

I think the problem is more often that both with Spurs, and with England, there doesn't appear to be a viable alternative of similar type - so he gets run into the ground. He looked knackered against Sweden, and looked the same last night.
