Puma WC Shirts

Postby Hammerite on Tue Jun 13, 2006 3:42 pm

Anyone else noticed how the teams that are wearing the Puma shirts seem soaked in sweat about 10 mins into each game where their kit has been worn? I know it's hot out there, but the teams wearing other manufacturers kit don't seem to be as badly affected. Must be down to the material, cut (to close)...looks fcukin vomit

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The Puma shirts seem to get totally drenched in sweat and cling to the players. It looks disgusting and must feel horrible.

It's not so bad on the white kits like the Swiss are wearing now, but the blue (Italy) and red (Iran) kits, for example, looked nasty when soaked.

I haven't noticed the same problem with the Umbro, Nike or Adidas kits.

It's not sweat, it's actually a design on all the Puma shirts.

I thought the same but on closer inspection all the shirts have something relating to the country on, Togo have an elephant, Switzerland has the cross etc. I'm not sure what the Italian one is though.

they certainly do seem that way - the Nike kits which in my opinion are the worst looking kits of the lot don't seem to have that problem but I will afree those Puma ones look waffer thin and seem to soak up every thing - can'y be to comfortable to ware it when it's drentched in sweat..h
