Can anyone recommend solicitors/surveyors specialising in the above in the east london/havering area? Have started trawling through the Law Society pages without success so far.
Also, if anyone has done it, any general advice would be gratefully received I hear it can be complicated.
Thanks

Re: Lease extension specialist/s
All I can add as any insight is to get as many other leaseholders as possible in a group acting as one and both cut your costs and have more clout or power with the landlord
Cant help you with the east side of town have cpntacts of london firms who have done a lot in Surbiton area and Kingston

Try DC Law in Basildon , he used to be in Hornchurch
I have used Stephen Cottrell who is one of the partners for every property I have bought and sold for the last 30 years always found him very personnel and easy to get hold off to speak to , and reasonable prices , he might be able to help

Another option for you....

We use a gentlemen by the name of Jon Kelly, who was incredibly helpful in terms of leases. The missus' flat had a pretty messy lease and he gave some sound advice.

Re: Lease extension specialist/s
thanks for the responses chaps, completely forgot I had posted this in here. McDowalls surveyors near the Boleyn were suggested to me today by a local solicitor so will do a bit of research on them, and also have a look at the names suggested.
thanks again.
Should have done this years ago but got burnt taking some bad advice at face value - probably cost me a good few grand. Also, as you can see, have trouble getting my arse in gear:)

Plus 1 for Jon Kelly. I put quite a bit of work his way.RichieRiv wrote:Another option for you....
