I wasn't sure whether to just stick these in the current thread, but figured they might get lost amongst the posts today...

So how about a thread dedicated some pictures of the future home of our club... 8-)

Not just the stadium, but the whole park will be brilliant, for the Olympics. After that...........remains to be seen.

Don't forget, our Meccano bolt together stadium will have a nice cloth wrapper around the outside to keep in all the snuggly goodness.

Stade De France - Honestly how much thought would this have taken.

The Icelandics mentioned having retractable seating when they first suggested taking over the Olympic Stadium just after they bought the club. The stadium was still in its planning phase and nothing had been decided back then. However, the OPLC said at the time that they weren't even entertaining thoughts of a football club taking over, hence why we have the stadium design we do now.

Agreed Saludo. Whack a bigger roof on there and without changing the seats you've got a pretty special ground.

One thing I have wondered is the dugouts...I'm assuming they are where that blue thing is on the ground, but how do the people sitting behind them see the football? See-through dugouts? Or do we actually dig a hole for the subs and coaching team to sit in?
