Is that what estate agents use now, the old fish eye lens.

Do fish really see things like that ?

The only fish i ever saw at a football ground was one that winged it's way towards me at Grimsby back in the eighties, and yes it did mention it seemed a long way from the pitch.

They're so far off the pace in the other thread that it beggars belief, even when you point out exactly where and how they've goofed they can't see it.....

This picture is massive, but quite good at showing the inside of the stadium.

see now that's what pisses me off, why do they have to have such a large space along the right side of the track doing absolutely nothing? I know they need it for long jump ect on the other side but there the seats could at least be 40 meters closer!

See how much tighter the Berlin one is! If only... Image

Considering the track is only about 10 metres wide, 40 metres closer seems a bit of an overstatement, more like 10.

Fair enough mate! It's not that bad but i do think they could have designed it better, maybe with more adaptability for after the games, but i guess the government were only thinking about the short term as usual :thdn:

What they did in Manchester was perfect, but then they were thinking of the future from the beginning

Yes a good more realistic view of what the naked eye would see with none of these wide angle or telephoto lenses used.

And it also gives a good view of the gap down that side.

Is this taken with a 'fish-eye' lens?

I'm assuming the pitch will be bigger than just the grass bit as it is at the moment. From the corners the view should be really good.

Was this taken with one of those 'birds-eye' lenses?

Awaits the PR disaster that will unfold if the weather continues like it has been the past few weeks , and all those people are sat with no roof above them .......... .

Lord Coe has rather a lot to answer for .
