The only fish i ever saw at a football ground was one that winged it's way towards me at Grimsby back in the eighties, and yes it did mention it seemed a long way from the pitch.

Has anyone got a Glass-Eye Lens picture of the Stadium please? My mate's got one and wants to know what it will look like for him.

see now that's what pisses me off, why do they have to have such a large space along the right side of the track doing absolutely nothing? I know they need it for long jump ect on the other side but there the seats could at least be 40 meters closer!

Considering the track is only about 10 metres wide, 40 metres closer seems a bit of an overstatement, more like 10.

Fair enough mate! It's not that bad but i do think they could have designed it better, maybe with more adaptability for after the games, but i guess the government were only thinking about the short term as usual

What they did in Manchester was perfect, but then they were thinking of the future from the beginning

Yes a good more realistic view of what the naked eye would see with none of these wide angle or telephoto lenses used.

I'm assuming the pitch will be bigger than just the grass bit as it is at the moment. From the corners the view should be really good.
