Don't think this has been posted yet, he's been pretty quiet on the issue until now. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/foot ... 69633.html"I would like to see the stadium tied up as quickly as possible," said Allardyce. "I just feel it's an un-believable stadium for the football club to move in there. I know a lot of diehard West Ham fans would like to stay where we are but, believe you me, the way forward is to go to a venue like that. It would be like playing at Wembley every week. The atmosphere would be electric as long as it gets converted the right way."

I think Big Sam's Bosses want the Stadium too! He's spot on about the place being converted in the right way, too. That's key.

If it's converted correctly maybe it could be ok, until we know what's going on with it properly though I am still against it.

Sam likes the idea of not being able to see or hear the fans. In which case the OS is ideal.

We play in the distance! We play in the distance! We are West Ham united, and now fatty can't hear us.

Another snide comment from someone who knows nothing about the final design. You go pal!

I thought it was more tongue in cheek than snide, after all the long ball banter between BFS and us lot. I saw pictures of the pitch on here when we were originally given the go ahead, and the pitch looked like a green postage stamp surrounded by a racing track.....
