I know this is probably being discussed in the OS forum, but our response to Hearn is hilarious and deserves to be shared on here IMO:

The man is a deluded moron. Can you imagine the O's playing a league game with five or six thousand supporters cheering them on in the Olympic Stadium. Allright, they may now get ten thousand for special games. Will still be like a ghost town.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Hearn in favour of Tottenham getting the OS back when it was going to be most likely them or us.

If that is correct can anybody explain why WHU moving in would be a threat to Leyton Orient's existence but it would be quite ok for Spurs to move in

Everyone knows no-one would change to support the spuds whereas everyone really wants to be West Ham maybe. :)

"We do not wish to comment on recent statements made by Barry Hearn not least because we can't keep up with his ever-changing position.

They continue, however, to provide us with a constant source of amusement."

At long last - brilliant

The guy is a complete tool.
his thoughts change like the weather. One minute he wants a team on their doorstep, then he doesn't. Then he hates the OS, now he wants to be in it.
The guy's a joke and he's only after one thing - a bit of wonga or compensation for his club.
Really hope we get them in the Cup and Stuff them this year!

That is right though isn't it, I mean I didn't imagine it * ?

It sounds more like Karren Brady than gold and sullivan.
Has anyone got the clip of her when Vaz te scored in the final?
Pure joy though i suspect it was doubled by the fact of the amount of work she has put into getting the O/S.

I did at the Circus Tavern one year when I shouted in his face "duck Barry...he's got a shooter"

He looked at me and said "That was Frank Warren you dickhead"

Oh what a twat I looked!

I don't think it matters where in east London we move to, Orient are what they are and will never be any bigger.
