As i have said many times before....along the sides there is little difference. I must have watched 50+ games in stadiums with running tracks.
Slightly off topic, but did you see any of the games at the Don Bass stadium? From what I have seen in pictures, it looks a cracking new stadium.

Looked bigger than it was...and the sort of stadium that looks better from the outside. And to make the point about Kiev...most preferred the OS than Donbass. I suppose it doesn't fit into peoples plans though does it I have pics from both...will try and put them up to give an idea

Cheers for that As for not fitting into plans, I respect everyone's opinion when it is based on real life experience. I have had great nights at some of Europe's tracked stadiums, but would still rather cut off a bollock than sit in an unmodified OS every home game.

So are you saying the view at the OS will be as good if not better than the Don Bass?

I am saying that i sat by the corner flag (about 15 rows back) in both stadiums in Ukraine....and the people i were with were amazed at the view at Kiev and preferred it to the Donbass. The Donbass felt too tight...and it was a bloody long walk from anything over a lake. In the Euros..they put artificial grass over the tracks and gaps between the stands and the pitch which helped in making it look smaller. If our OS has the same viewing as Kiev...we will all be happy.

with the stadium in Kiev it looked like the front row of seats in the lower tier were higher than pitch level, how higher than pitch level would you roughly say it is ?

Thanks sounds promising. With a proper roof and possible retractable seating I reckon it could work out well.
