Singing Areas at the OS?
Dunno if anyones given this any thought. Does anyone have any ideas on where any such 'singing' or 'loud' areas might be in the OS? Love to sit in a noisy part of the new stadium. Thoughts anyone?

STHs won't be allowed near the away support in an effort to sanitise the atmosphere...

Not true, STHs will be near the away supporters in the corner of the 'Kop' side stand.NorthBankAlliance wrote:STHs won't be allowed near the away support in an effort to sanitise the atmosphere...

The away support will be by the West Stand not the East Stand (Kop if you must)...Knighter10WHU wrote:Depending on what your definition of "near" is, yeah
Can't see the corner of the 'corporate' West being anywhere near lively...

I don't think it is actually if you look at this. http://planningregister.londonlegacy.co ... -36147.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; it states that for Premier League the 15% zone will be given to away fans which suggests to me it will be on the East side not the West side.NorthBankAlliance wrote:

Re: Singing Areas at the OS?
I think they've worded that wrong, if not we'll be offering the away support 8,100 meaning they'll have the entire South Stand and would border both the East and West.
As it is they'll probably have that 5% zone (probably more) but as shown that is closest to the West Stand.

Re: Singing Areas at the OS?
The normal seats by the away (ad opposed to the boxes of course) wont be corporate. Tye boleyn and academy 'premier economy' seats are by the centre circle.
Re: Singing Areas at the OS?
Don't forget due to allocations for cup matches no season tickets will be sold in areas next to the away support.
Re: Singing Areas at the OS?
Just waiting on others here where the place to be at the OS and I'm there.

You might be right actually, I hadn't thought that 15% would be 8,100. Will be such a shame if the away fans are put in that corner of the ground specifically.NorthBankAlliance wrote:I think they've worded that wrong, if not we'll be offering the away support 8,100 meaning they'll have the entire South Stand and would border both the East and West.

Re: Singing Areas at the OS?
I thought that as well. Not sure what the official rule is for the Premier League, I think maybe 5% of capacity/3,000 minimum if the away team requires it.Westbourne Bill wrote:A 15% allocation normally only applies to FA cup matches I believe.
Does anyone know the size of the South stand of the stadium because I imagine away supporters will be allocated (roughly) 50% of it.

Re: Singing Areas at the OS?
15% is just for cup games
man u hold 78k, you don't get 11700 tickets for every game
nearer 4k, about 5%
were only obliged to give around 3k based upon that
