Really eggy? Personally I find him to most engaging and is always spot on when talking about cricket. Particularly when it comes to talking about batsmans techniques.

I was at Edgbaston for the final day. Honestly don't think the D/N test is going to make much difference in England. Maybe anywhere North of Trent Bridge where test attendances are a bit ropey or elsewhere in the world but just no need for it in England.

Roland-Jones is dropped for the 2nd Test after taking 14 wickets at an average of 19.35!!

Has to be the harshest axing ever.

Was at the T20 quarter final last night and there were absolutely loads of Somerset fans considering how far they had to travel, don't often see away fans at Trent bridge unless we are playing Leicester or Derby.

Good night out but not a chance that ball carried to Trego.

Got to be a better option than Westley and Malan at 3 and 5 respectively

Not good today. Complacency? I would love to see WI make a real game of it this time.

Much better, in general, from the Windies today
Could have been much worse for England without them drops in the field.

So 6 tests into our Summer preparation for the Ashes, and we are precisely where we started.

Position 2, 3 and 5 are a massive problem and we have no idea who to fill them with.

Not even solved one of them!

It's tempting to just go sod it, throw in Buttler, Hales etc and tell them to just go out there and try and smash it. They'll probably either be out for about 4 or 50.

Windies lead by 126 with 3 in hand. So much for them not warranting test match status according to some in the media.

Anderson again has been great. The rest meh. Toblerone can feel hard done by getting dropped.

Agreed. The selectors and management should take some of the blame for this. They have dropped an in form player for someone who is not yet match fit and performing.

The thing is if we can get to a lead of around 200 I'd fancy us to win it. I can just see WI folding up under pressure.

So Stokes or Bairstow need an 80 or so tomorrow, Ali and Woakes about 50 together, plus a few more from the others and we can get there.

WI playing like they don't want to win this, ball is turning and seaming and they are bowling part-timers and no-balls

On the no-balls England should have at least +50 runs, so many over the line. This has to be sorted by the ICC

Lead 218 now, I fancy England to run through the WI for 100 odd in the 4th innings.
