Ashes 2017-18: Vaughan and Ponting reunite in the commentary box for BT Sport
BT Sport's live and exclusive Ashes coverage sees two of the former cricketing greats reunite in the commentary box as Michael Vaughan and Ricky Ponting join Geoffrey Boycott, Adam Gilchrist, Graeme Swann and Damien Fleming as part of the punditry team heading Down Under for the 2017-18 Ashes.
Warner having a pop at Stokes now for 'letting a lot of people down'. Takes one to know one I guess...
I will be glad when all this crap is over and the cricket gets underway. With all the turmoil surrounding West Ham at the moment I need England to do well or it's going to be a dark and depressing winter.
The women have drawn their Ashes series, which is a great effort after the way it started!
Incredible T20!match today too, Aussie’s hit 178, and we just chased it down losing 6 wickets and an over to spare - the highest women’s T20 chase (score?). Also Danni Wyatt (I think I love her) with an incredible 100 - the first English woman to do so in a T20. Some of the drops by the Aussies were shocking but Wyatt and Knight capitalised on it.
I thought it was all going to be thrown out of court due to the two guys who were being bullied coming out in Stokes’ defence?
Christ, you’d think at least one person in the CPS would be a cricket fan.
Even if he gets cleared by the police....don't you think the ECB would take issue with the England VC kicking lumps out of some fella in the wee small hours - all caught on CCTV?

Playing devil's advocate....
It’s weird because if it wasn’t cricket, any other game there’s no way a player would be punished for a punch-up outside of the field of play by a sporting body.

Give him a fine and get him out there.
Didn't Manu Tuilangi miss out on playing for England based on an altercation with the police?
I won't even pretend to be a massive cricket fan BUT I will be in Australia for Christmas / New Year, staying with Aussie friends. Although we are staying near Sydney I'm assuming we won't be able to avoid what's going on in Melbourne.
Am I best just to stay ignorant, be quiet and just drink copious amounts of their beer, wine & brandy ?????
Also going to try to avoid every West Ham game while I'm out there as the embarrassment will be too much to bear !!
