I often think I will just let me girlfriend pick next week (who doesn't follow football at all).
Yup.
My missus has picked the last 2 Grand National winners.... :arry:
Lukaku scoring and Man Utd beating us was a licence to print money, and somehow I missed out by being stupid and tying it into various other things including Kane scoring, cards and corners etc. Fuming. Should have just kept it simple and stuck a few hundred on it on it's own.

What were the standard odds for Lukaku & Man Utd win?
Probably couldn't have been much more than 11/8?
I think the worst 'miss yesterday was Real Madrid to win at Barcelona, 11-5 I think and Lazio were worth a bet as I wondered how big a loss Bonucci would be for Juve.
Has anyone here had a go at trading the cricket T20 Blast matches that are shown on Sky?
Do you like volatile odds spread out over 3 hours rather than a 5f dash (60 seconds)?
Like trading in a market that has great liquidity (often 20-30+ million)?
Have a stop limit of what's a "happy" loss?
If so it's for you... unless you don't like cricket of course!. Or don't have up to date live pics.
Piss simple, hope it doesn't rain (research), bet contrary to what's happening in % increments of your stop loss and even out as the second innings gets to around 15-17 overs. Stop at your loss limit if it goes belly up.
Spent 12 years on Aunt Betty with mixed results, mainly on the nags with some football and cricket, but the last 5 or so weeks on the T20 have been hugely positive.
Not knowledgeable enough to offer "tips" as I just pick a side to back/lay pre-start and then follow my gut feeling after that. Happy to expand though if anyone feels the need
Bet 365 offering over/under 105.5 player performance points on Jimmy anderson.
Points system:
1 point per run
10 points per catch
20 points per wicket
25 points per run out
Taking over at 105.5 apparently the pink ball moves a mile and will be difficult for batsmen and hes bound to chip in with the odd run at the tail so think he will comfortably get more than 105 points. Now that I've said that he'll have a shocker

Celtic and Man Utd over 1.5 team goals (double)
Neymar to score 2 or more
Tottenham & Chelsea over 2.5
Three small wins (a couple of £s on @ fairly short odds) I just wish I had the patience to sit at the start of the weekend and put those kind of bets into an accumulator instead of waiting until a few minutes before each game kicks off.
The problem you may find though, is you may just stick an extra 1 or 2 in there, as they also seem to be sure things at low odds.
Before you know it, you have a 4 or 5 way of 1.5-1.8 bets and one of them is bound to let you down.
Nothing wrong with small singles. You just have to ensure a high strike rate.
Getting the correct combination of doubles @ 1.42 to make an evens bet... that's an art.
I make you right Rars. Also, if an early kick off on Saturday let me down then I would just be tempted to put on more bets and risk more money as a result.
I had a decent win on Saturday with Ipswich then lost about half of it doing some cross selections. One of which was 4 'sure things' in Serie A and Freiburg at home and only 2 came in. I got to the stage where I was having 1 decent sized bet (for me) with decent odds and what is doing better overall that way but then start thinking about the increased odds on a 3 or 4 fold full cover and lost the plot a bit after having a couple of decent wins.
A Bielefeld are 5-4 or better tonight at home to Bochum, decent price.
Celtic to score over 1.5 goals is 6/5 with Bet365. Celtic won the home leg 5 - 0 and according to a few of their season ticket holders at work, Rodgers rested a few at the weekend with this game in mind.
*BTTS Treble *
Sheffield United v Leicester
Middlesbrough v Scunthorpe
Crystal Palace v Ipswich
Bit peed off with myself, was going to back Maribor on Tuesday, great price at 19/10 and meant to put it up here but went in the bookies and saw Celtic at 6/4 which I thought was a great price, wtf do I know? Always go with your first choice.
I had Red Star Belgrade at 7/5.
I have to say the racing post is pretty good on the single football predictions, they were all for AEK tonight who a good price at home.
