Notts County are 11/8 at home to Barnet with the local bookmakers, decent price I think. They're results have improved since Nolan took over. 3 pm ko.

Won 1-0, they played 79 minutes with 10 men, good result for them. Nolan doing a decent job there, pity for the o's they didn't keep him on I think.

East Fife are 5/4 at my bookies to win at Albion, I think the best available is 11/8.

Big hit to the bank as Cue Card fell again at the same fence as last year, but unlike the last trip he looked all but beaten and well out of it.

I let The Racing Post talk me out of having 20 quid out of Scotland-Canada for a draw last night, 7/2. I think there's usually some good odds in internationals especially draws in friendlies.

There's good odds in apathetic markets - if that's the right term.

Corners especially.
To get 5 corners, England were 2.20 last night, they ended up with 7

Because it's a friendly, players won't be hunting for goals, or getting booking etc, but they'd also be pretty indifferent about preventing corners, allowing overlapping full backs etc

Laying goalscorers is also a good option on the exchanges. Get someone like Thomas Muller at lowish odds, knowing he'll only feature for 15 mins.

Only just found this thread, thought it had been a bit quiet!

Quick note to say about the site that RARS has mentioned in the past. Successfully used it to complete 2 of those '£10-£1000' challenges this week! Top stuff

Nothing to do with that mate.

More likely everyone did their b*llocks at Cheltenham... payday soon/now, I'm sure it'll get right back on track!

Not sure if this thread is quite dead yet.
I had Bolton to win at Southend at 6-4, they left it till the 91st minute though.

Tip for Saturday.

2.25 Aintree.

Captain Forez........E/W.

11/1 @Paddy Power is the only bookmaker price I can see at the moment. Was tiny amount at 14.0 on Betfair...........now tiny amount at 10.0...............obviously thin market at the moment but keep an eye on it.

Since Saturday I have taken £8 stake and made a series of bets from doubles to trebles to 5 folds with the stake plus winnings. Altogether there were probably around 20 selections and I have got each of them correct!

I was at my girlfriend's yesterday with no access to the football. Last night I had Arsenal to win 3-0 (14-1) with Hull to win and Chel/MC both to score. I cashed in at 50 minutes before Arsenal started scoring for a negligible profit as I thought they would only get 2 goals at most at that point. Would have been a tasty 50-1 or even 60/1-ish payout.

Anyway, the Oracle predicts bad news for the Hammers. In my 15 selection acca I have West Ham/Boro/Sunderland to go down (40-1). Of these 15 selections I have 5 correct so far. The Oracle has spoken.

I often predict we could go down when we hit drastically bad form but we usually avoid the drop as you know. I was tempted with the relatively attractive price for us to be relegated is all
