Like to do a EW lucky 15 on the handicaps/harder races and then trixie on the three bigger ones

I do a Lucky 15 each day (50p EW so £15) - yesterday I won 3 of the 4 and took home a nice £75 profit. Although if Posh Trish had won in the last it would've been a tasty £600 profit! Also like a 50p EW full 7 horse acca, it's highly unlikely to ever happen but if it did, it would pay off my mortgage most times!

13:30 Sir Erec (nap)
14:10 Crooks Peak
14:50 Birchdale
15:30 Clan Des Obeaux
16:10 Hazel Hill
16:50 Whatswrongwithyou
17:30 Dallas Des Pictons

Todays acca is: 205,493.54/1

Good luck everybody, some wide open races today, so could be a good day for some!

No harm in the accas whatsoever, more fun than the lottery, better chance of winning for less money too! I always recommend to people, don't bother doing the lottery, much better to do something like a 10fold btts acca or something like that at odds of like 1000/1 or whatever so a) you can follow it, b) better chance of winning

A life changing £5m win on the lottery is nice but lets be realistic the odds arent great

Can't see anything but the fav in the opener. Also think Mullins and Walsh will make it a bad start to the day for the bookies in the second. Third should be a great race and I have still deliberating over a few but will most likely end up going with the Gordon Elliott fancy.

Gold Cup is all about Native River for me, the prep for Percy and additional training it has needed all feels a bit desperate. I wouldn't be surprised if it is pulled up after being ridden at the back from the off in all honesty. I can't make a case for Might Bite finding the form of 12 months ago and even then, it wasn't good enough to win. Bellshill and Kemboy are OK but I don't believe they are better than last years winner so that only leaves the Nicholls horse as a threat in my eyes. I'll most likely do Native River, Clan Des Obeaux and Kemboy all ways in a tricast.

As much as I'd love to see Jamie Codd win the 16.10, i think it will be a bigger priced winner such as Pacha Du Polder. Anything could win that one. I have no idea what to go for in the 16.50 and think the fav will smash the last.

13.30 Sir Erec
14.10 Whiskey Sour (NAP)
14.50 Commander Of Fleet
15.30 Native River
16.10 Pacha Du Polder
16.50 Not Another Muddle
17.30 Dallas Des Pictons

*edit, added my nap pick before the first

Just to show what accas can do, I did 1.50 doubles and a £1 treble yesterday on 3 horses including Frodon, and they returned about £300.

I'd love to say they happen all the time, they don't, but boy they feel good when they come in. :scarfer:

Breaking down when running on the flat, it's the ****ing worst. Falls are sad but at least you half expect it when they do, not to take anything away from that.

Bound to be questions over it being the same foot they changed the shoe on.

Looked as though he kicked the hurdle and twisted on landing. Horrific image of the front leg that won't leave anyone who watched it for some time.

All very strange that it was same foot as the loose shoe.

So sad. RIP

BHA vet dude on ITV saying the shoe was nothing to do with it. These farriers know what they're doing.

Racehorses are athletes at the end of the day - much the same as if a footballer is running along and his hamstring or knee ligaments go... just sad that horses with serious injuries can't rest/recover like humans can and have to be put to sleep...

Hope the animal rights idiots don't latch onto this as racehorses are a small part of our horse population and injuries like this will happen in yards all over the country day in day out
