Zeek may not be suspended after all

Fri, Sep 1 at 6:09am
The NFL Players Association has filed a temporary restraining order in Texas, calling for the courts to block any suspension for Elliott upheld by arbitrator Harold Henderson, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: A three-day appeal hearing for Elliott concluded Thursday. A report from multiple media sources later reported that Kia Roberts, director of investigations for the NFL, recommended no suspension for Elliott after her investigation and that her recommendations were not included in the NFL's 160-page report on the matter. As result, the NFLPA has said it has a strong case and it looks like this matter may be headed for the courts. It's not clear when Henderson will issue a ruling, though Schefter earlier reported that he's under pressure to rule by Monday. The lawsuit raises the possibility that Elliott's six-game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy may be blocked and he will be allowed to play. However, expect many legal twists in the next week before we get some clarity on the issue.

I think it's disgusting that the league will use excuses like wife beating to prevent players from representing such fine organisations as the Cowboys.

Hurricane news: If you have Miami or Tampa players in your line-up you should bench them. They are now on a Bye this week, rather than on Week 11.

Made a big mistake last night sitting Tyrek Hill and playing Hogan. Cost me 20 points. Fortunetly my opponent sat Alex Smith who scored nearly 50 points.

That was me.

But come on, who expected the Chiefs to win so convincingly at Foxborough, and for Smith to pass for close to 360 odd yards and 4 TD's?! Bah.
Still loved watching the Pats lose.

So far I've been the underdog in each week (per the projected point totals) and I'm 3-0. Not favoured again this week. That's good news.

Thank you DeShaun Watson. That was a nice midweek free agent pickup. 5TDs, not bad.

Well done Florida. 79 points between two players.... I've got no answer for that.

Not looking any better next week. Freeman on a Bye along with a few injuries and under performers. I need Sammy Watkins to go ballistic again.

Having a very West Ham-like season, where each week's team seems to have their best game of the season against me.

142 points already Warp, really?

Both my starting RBs on a bye this week. My patchwork backfield put up 1.1 points. Luckily Deshaun Watson went off for 54 points. It appears that I'm playing a ghost ship this week though. Wiltshire has 3 positions on a bye in his starting line up.
