NFL Fantasy League 2017/18: New Season details from page 171

Please note, I have adjusted some of the scoring settings based on my own belief on what is fair. These include extra punishment for QB's throwing interceptions, and greater bonus points for if individual plays/performances. Plus points for defence teams and individual defensive players being amended.

You will also notice I have increased the bench from 6 players to 9. I have done this as we are including two defensive players and so it makes sense to me to have space for backups. Plus, I love random sleeper picks and I like to reward those late round draft picks with an extra spot on the roster.

Please review the scoring system and give me any feedback!

Haha no you haven't. It's a LIVE draft, each NFL player can ONLY BE DRAFTED BY ONE OF US, so everyone needs to be logged on at EXACTLY 7:00pm on SUNDAY 24th. At hslf past six the order will be randomly selected by the computer. You then sit online and when it tells you "you are on the clock", you make your picks.

I just took part in a mock draft and it was pretty confusing.

I ended up with a team of players I'd pretty much never heard of. but with Romo, kaepernick, and Newton.

Well, you certainly want 2 QB's, those three would be perfectly acceptable.

Your plan (in general value terms) should go something like:

Most of your points come from your 2RBs and 2WRs. Focus on those first. There's a few QBs that will go in the first 3 rounds but those are special. TEs and QBs on the whole usually are taken after RBs and WRs, with a few exceptions. Defense comes last.

QBs often score highest but the disparity being the position is not as big from top to bottom as it is with RBs and WRs, hence those two positions having priority.
