Yup, Dana will be well aware of the potential legal ramifications of being sued by a high-profile fighter left permanently disabled by PED cheats and will have offered him an ambassadorial role in the business. UFC gyms are being rolled out over the world, and I can see Bisping being given a promotional role there - one that pays handsomely and requires generally little effort.

Footage from behind the scenes of Till's weight cut

http://severemma.com/2018/06/video-behi ... liverpool/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That's hard to watch, especially the bit right at the end

https://www.mmafighting.com/2018/5/31/1 ... -liverpool" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Article on it as-well, thoughts on this lads? Surely time for a new weight classes?

Interesting stuff SS.

I just cannot bring myself to support Till, though.

Probably because he's a scouser.

And we all know they're c****

Romero missed weight so it’s a non title fight. Doesn’t have a big gas tank, so I expect Whittaker to beat him in 5.
RDA is the exact opposite to Colby - BJJ/MT vs pressure wrestling. Could go either way, but I’m backing Dos Annie, who is a tough customer - his dismantling of Lawlor was highly impressive.

Quite a deep card this, with the undercard featuring some old favourites, including Guida, who’s always fun together watch.

Fame. He’s a rubbish fighter, completely out of his depth. But yanks will pay to watch him.

I’d pay to watch Kendo Nagasaki take on Marco Ruas or Royce, I guess.

Romero Whittaker was gladiator stuff. Romero was robbed imo, did unbelievable damage and was very close to finishing fight 3 or 4 times. Should have been a draw at worse with at least one 10-8 round, not a fan of unified scoring at all.

It's not surprising though that judges gave Whittaker the nod since would have put them in awkward situation with Romero missing weight

The usual, I guess - Cormier to attempt takedowns, Miocic probably too mobile and strong to keep down. Holloway's a tough, versatile fighter, but Ortega brutalised Edgar in his last fight and is on an absolute tear - plus, he's huge.

Cheers Dan

Seems like we should see a pretty decent ppv then ?

*(available from the usual sources....)

Recognise some of the big names, not up to date with all of the players of course, just like to see something that lives up to the hype......

some really do, some "lower" down fighters have some fantastic fights so like to watch from the mid prelims onward.....much more and it's boring by the time you get to the big cards....

Completely agree, the undercards usually have the hungry up and comers who want to make a name for themselves, often against the fading former stars. By the time the main card starts, they’re mostly fighting not to lose.

In other news, Chuck Liddell has agreed to fight old rival Tito Ortiz under Oscar De La Hoyas banner. Chuck is 48 and hasn’t fought for 8 years after being violently knocked out in 5 of his last 6 fights. Eesh.

Max Holloway's out, apparently has a concussion. Looking at this interview, pretty clear he's not well and didn't go unnoticed by Bisping.

No question, he was NOT well during that interview. Props to Bisping for calling that out, too.

I was absolutely battered when I finally passed out around 11pm. Very impressed by DC - there’s been talk about Miocic being pretty much unbeatable, yet here we are.
