Couldn't be more embarrassing. Looks like a dog shaking water off itself in slow motion.

Got two mates who realised they were in Vegas when this fight was on and just on a whim bought tickets for it. £300. Not bad at all.

Wow, just wow. Aldo ironed out in 13 seconds with one punch.

Don't know what the f*** Aldo was doing....throws a big right hand right out the gate, pulls it, throws a left instead and was basically out cold from Mcgregor's counter before it even landed. Chin right up in the air. You really do see some shocking boxing from some of these MMA guys (and girls).

Remember, MMA boxing is completely different to pure boxing. Much easier to string combinations together when you don't have to worry about being kicked in the neck or slammed onto your back.

Aldo got that wrong, bigtime. He's a better boxer than that, no doubts, but he got his gameplan completely wrong. I can't see him justifying an immediate rematch either, and there's a good chance that Conor will move up to 155 now - that cut is absolutely brutal. Might fight Edgar first, but that'll be it for 145.

It was a superb short left hook from McGregor, I was disappointed because I think it would have been a great battle if the early knockout didn't happen. Aldo had his head down from the time he walked into the ring until the time they started the first round, the mind games definitely got to him.

Conor said he's gonna KO Aldo in the first round and he did, talks a lot but Conor always backs it up.

What a scrap that was Condit - Lawler. Possibly the best I've seen in MMA and virtually impossible to call. I liked Condit's work rate and variety but Lawler always looked the more hurtful striker. Could make a case either way and they'll surely have to do it again.

The Judges were swayed by that last round , I still think on balance it should have been given to Condit but like you say, you could easily make a case for either.

Agree. I think Condit already had three in the bag just through being busier but I can understand how it went the other way.

I can't understand is how pretending to be a punching bag for 15 mins wins you the fight. Lawler, in my opinion, didn't do nearly enough in 1,3 or 4 to win those rounds. But then i thought that with his split decision win over Hendricks too - it would appear some judges are swayed by 5th round fightbacks.

To be honest, I had a bet with Lawler in it so i was kind of glad he won, but i don't think he deserved it. Very entertaining fighter though - his war his MacDonald last year was awesome

Dominick Cruz v TJ Dillashaw this weekend, should be a great battle.

Fair play to Mcgregor taking on the champion of the weight above.
