I'd ask young Jamie Lewis if he agrees.

"There will never be another athlete like him again"
I remember when Andy Fordham had to quit because he was too tired from being too overweight, crazy sport but I'll admit it can be thoroughly entertaining.

Re: darts
Rob Cross did to Taylor what Taylor did to Jamie Lewis, the big difference is that Lewis missed chances in the semi whereas Taylor had no chance in the final. It wasn't even close.westham, eggyandchips wrote: Really?

In this climate, it's truly astonishing that Taylor continues to get a bye from the press for his conviction.jastons wrote:The sexual conviction that Sky Sports never mention, despite showing montage after montage of him.

Re: darts
Bizarrely, lots of people at work are defending Taylor over the conviction. Apparently, it was all overplayed, and it wasn't really Indecent Assault, they were asking for it etc.

Re: darts
I saw it. Thought Durrant was going to throw it away at 6-4, his doubles went to pieces. Fair play for pulling out that 149 checkout in the final set, that was the clincher. A great final.brothernero wrote:Take it no one here watches the other World Championship?
Cracking match and so unlucky for McGeeney. Congrats to Duzza though.

Sky have shoved so much darts down our throats in recent years that I've more or less switched off. Will always keep an eye on the World Championships though.

There could be a rank outsider winning the PDC this (next) year.
I like the look of Nathan Aspinall.

Bloke is quality, he'll give most a decent run for their money. Has a knack of pulling it out the bag under pressure, done it before these World Champs too.
There have been some terrible quality matches too - a low 80s ave. won a 2nd or 3rd round match (can't remember which) - even I have averaged in the 80s at my peak!
