Does someone who has 1 British parent make them more British than someone with no British parents but is born in Britain?
I am thinking Lennox Lewis.

Konta out but Murray through to Final, well Jamie that is, into the Mens Doubles Final. Brother Andy plays tomorrow morning

Probably just as well that Konta's run has come to an end as rather feel Serena would have mullered her in the Final.

Which is more than can be said of some footballers, you can qualify for a country based on grandparents. if memory serves me correct our own Welsh boy Jack Collison was born in Watford and his link to Wales, his maternal grandfather.
Yeah I appreciate that but he's about as far removed from being British as it's possible to be. I'd imagine he might have felt once in his 20's(!!) that British Cycling might have more to offer him.

Just because you can qualify for a country by virtue of your parents doesn't mean you should in my opinion. He is British in the same way that Andy Townsend is Irish.

Born before 2006, both qualified for a British passport so equally British in the eyes of the law, since then either at least one of your parents has to be British and if your father, your parents need to be married or your parents or you have to have a right to stay in the UK, legal immigration status.

Back on court, Federer is getting marmalised here by Djokovic. As big a Murray fan as I am, on this form it will be a big ask for Murray to win here. That is of course if he gets to the final, Raonic is no pushover and for either of them, the prospect of playing Djokovic in this kind of form will be daunting to say the least.

From nowhere. Fed turns the match around to take the third set, game on.

Edit: Normal service resumed as Djokovic takes the 4th set and is in to yet another Grand Slam Final.

I am getting close to the point where i would consider Djokovic as being the best of all time

If Federer can't nab one final GS this year then I would love Djokovic to do the 'grand slam' - he really should have got it last year

For me Feds longetivety at the top of the game is what makes him simply the greatest... 13 years after his first grand slam win he's still ranked in the top 3... and challenging for the top honours at each slam...

Unlikely for him to win another one probably... but his stay at the top when most others have failed to have his consistency puts him far ahead of the rest in terms of being the Greatest

Murray vs Djoko final again...Sunday morning.

Would love to see Murray do it, but can't see past Djoko.

Agree, unfortunately.

Murray certainly has the game to beat Djokovic, no question, and he has done so previously. The trouble is Djokovic gets inside Andy's head and that is half the battle. Djokovic tbf has not looked at his impenetrable best in Melbourne apart from those first two sets against Fed when he was unplayable, but Djokovic only ever does enough to win each match and always seems to have another gear in reserve, if needed.

Heart says Murray, head says Djokovic.

Broken again, 4-0 down. Novak not giving anything but Murray making mistakes, he needs to get his head right for the 2nd set otherwise this won't last long.

At least Murray gets a game on the scoreboard and will serve first in second set but he has a mountain to climb.

Small margins and all that, he very nearly broke Djokovic in first game of the match. He must win the second set if he has any chance of winning. No way will he come back from 2-0 down. He has it all to do I am afraid.

At least he holds his first service game in second set. It's a start.

Murray making a game of it this set. The problem is to match Djokovic, people have to play at an insane level for most of the match instead of in pockets and that is so hard to achieve.

Come on Murray

Finally, Murray gets a break to cancel the break Djokovc grabbed in last game - Murray must hold serve next.
