Someone, somewhere (Rosberg?) has clearly got a voodoo doll of Lewis Hamilton they are gleefully playing with this season.

Joking aside, at this rate I wonder if Lewis will win a GP this year? He certainly ain't going to do it today at Monaco from P3 that's as sure as mustard. Be happy to see Ricciardo win this one as he was well and truly shat on in Spain by Red Bull.

Rosberg wins today. Reckon he'll get past Ricciardo at turn one and that will be the end of the most boring race of the year.

I only really watch Formula 1 as it's better than not watching sport at all when there's little else on but f*** me it's tedious.

He definitely feels he was hard done by with the strategy in that race and it's motivated him this weekend.

I'm hoping for a bit of rain today and Hamilton can get ahead of Rosberg by the finish.

It looks like more than a bit of rain today there. Could be a fun race!

Superb driving from Lewis so far today, to drive with the wets on a drying track for so long, holding on to the lead too. Got lucky with the red bull mistake then not having Riccardo's tyres ready.

Really good race.

A great drive from Hamilton but all the awful luck he'd had all season changed into a bit of good fortune going his way today!

Got that wrong as well. Very happy to be wrong in this occasion and the weather, a brave tactical call and Red Bull cocking up a pit stop combined to give Lewis some much-needed good fortune at Monaco.
Great result.

To be honest great drive as it was , he had to rely on Red Bull ****ing up a pit stop and careering across a chicane when under pressure, which on any other track would have resulted in him having to hand the position to Ricciardo.

I thought Riccardo's pole lap was the best qualifying lap of Monaco I've seen since the days of Ayrton Senna, scintillating stuff - right on the limit but no more.

The race was a good one, although as others have pointed out Riccardo would have won if not for the pitstop cock up. I think Lewis was owed a bit of luck though tbf.

You could argue that Lewis wouldn't have needed DR's pit stop problem had Rosberg let him pass before the gap became 13 seconds.

Ageed. The inboard is pretty special.

As much as Monaco is usually a procession, (maybe rain should be organised every year), it does absolutely show the real talent of a racing driver that you can lose when watching on a big track with run offs. Young Max proved how fine the margins are.

A ridiculous comparison of course, but on my Wii F1 game, I have nailed mega qualifying laps on every circuit expect Monaco. I can do whole circuits right on the limit, perfect corners, breaking the gold award lap times, yet on Monaco I'm not even close, I always hit a barrier or have to lift off to ensure a lap. It's just massively more difficult.

If the real thing is the same multiple of difficulty then I can only doff my cap to them.

BTW, Mumbles is not posting after this race, any reason why? :D

Decent race under way in Austria, safety car currently out, Vettel's tire exploded as Ferrari seemed to keep him out for too long.

Rosberg runs into Hamilton on the last lap and Lewis tried to over take and damages both cars.

Rosberg goes backwards and finishes 4th as a result.

Lewis holds on to win

Hamilton's radio after the race

"Lewis Hamilton's engineer comes on the radio to say well done but adds: "That's not the result we were after."

The response from Hamilton?

"I was on the outside - it wasn't me who crashed.""

He was correct the ex-drivers on Sky and the BBC agree with him. Rosberg cannot beat Lewis in a fair one on one fight, never has.

Crowd booing Lewis and Rosberg being investigated for the crash and carrying on with a damaged car.

Scenes, absolutely unreal race. What happened today was in no way Hamiltons fault - no way, he was on the outside and NR just crashed into him.

Had a touch with a bet too, cashed out on Rosberg to win whilst he was leading for £20 chucked it on Hamilton for £80, so cheers Lewis.

More than fair enough, saw it exactly the same. Hamilton looked like he wanted to square the corner off for the run to the next corner and Rosberg just went straight into him.

Rosberg given a 10 second penalty, which doesn't affect the placings, and two penalty points on his licence.

Copout.
