Re: NFL Thread 2016/17
I can't help but like the Patriots and love Brady/Belichick.
If they had bought their success in the way of Chelsea, Man City etc then I don't think I could even watch them.

Completely bonkers.
I cannot believe that they won that. It's just ridiculous
Laughably there were several Pats best writers (Ben Volin from the Globe I think) that thought White was going to miss final cuts.
Delighted for Chris Long. He seems like a decent bloke.
I don't think there can be any doubt as to who the greatest is now and I think the Edelman catch makes up for Tyree.

Not a big NFL fan at all - the stop starting just does my head in. Anyhow, I recorded this last night and have managed to watch the 4 quarters in about 90 mins and what an entertaining game it was. Falcons almost out of sight and the Patriots rewarded by taking the 2 point risks. After being under the kosh and not delivering for most of the game, Brady delivered when it mattered. Edelman, White and Ademdola seemed to do everything right when it mattered. Enjoyed it .... thanks to the fast forward button!

Spectacular. Greatest comeback in sporting history. Brady was already the goat, but now there's not even a debate.

I know absolutely ZERO about NFL other than my son is a Denver Broncos fan. I have tried to watch it but it just bores me to tears. However, for the first time in my life I had a bet on the Super Bowl ..... lumped on NEP to win by more than 4 points.Woke up to see thry had won by 6 BUT then noticed it was in OT so wrote it off as a lost bet.Genuinely pleasantly surprised this afternoon to see that I had been paid out after all .... so it's not like a football cup game where extra time doesn't count ??? Happy Days. Still a boring sport though !!

Hate to say it but yup.....and he doesn't even move. When they say elite sport is majority what goes on between the ears Brady may be the finest example of that in history. Throws a pick six in the Super Bowl and still drags his team to a result. #clutchAztec Hammer wrote:The GOAT.

Absolutely unreal game, I despise the Patriots, especially as a Jets fan however that was just an unreal come back although I fully expected it and stuck £5 on Patriots to win at half time at 9/2.

You only got 9/2? You got robbed.Kitt the car wrote:Absolutely unreal game, I despise the Patriots, especially as a Jets fan however that was just an unreal come back although I fully expected it and stuck £5 on Patriots to win at half time at 9/2.

It hasn't. They're just making up things to slag off a sport they don't understand.Mega Ron wrote:When has that ever happened.
Fully expect "it's just rugby with pads coz they're soft" line to come out next...

Who is excited for the draft?
Browns have the 1st and 12th picks. We must get it right.
