In terms of his England career, I still think ultimately he pays the price for being an sportsman and someone who has a responsibility as a role model for kids and so on

I don't see anyway back for him

Of course there should be a way back for him, he's ****ed up, probably will have to serve his punishment (miss the ashes) and has got to learn from it

What a waste it would be to discard him for good because of one drunken night

Rehabilitation is one of the corner stones of any society

No disrespect to the kid, but that Harvey Price thing was nothing more the PR for his abhorrent attention seeking mother, it was always going to be mocked.

Of the members here around 40-50, who was guilty of mocking Joey Deacon in the school playground?

Totally forgot the Ashes is only being shown on BT sport this winter. Really **** that is.

Do C5 still have the highlights show?

Greg James to host and..

"BT Sport has confirmed the signings of England cricket legends Michael Vaughan, Graeme Swann, Kevin Pietersen and Australian great Ricky Ponting to offer expert analysis as it kicks off its international cricket coverage."

Foul. I'll stick to TMS thanks!

They've managed to get Boycott too, so all is not lost!

Will they be commentating live from Australia, or in their shitty little studio?

Just what we need, another cricket format.

Maybe we should concentrate on a proper T20 competition that can rival the IPL and the Big Bash. Or a domestic 4 day league that doesn't play all its games on green seamers in April and September.

S pot on.
The format doesn't need changing, just beefing up.I honestly believe that ,long-term, the expansion of the short form of the game could help develop real cricket.

Great win for Essex against Lancs. Cutting it fine with a 31 run win. Sitting top of the county championship too. :scarfer:
