On my tombstone they won't say he should have played on a lot longer at snooker. Well I hope it doesn't haha
On the bright side, he did go for a pie and mash at Robins...

This is what life is all about robins pie mash in Wanstead best there is
Mate of mine spent a few hours doing a test drive with him a while back, said he was a thoroughly decent, genuine down to earth guy out of the spotlight.
Some doubt, I'd say. Most naturally gifted, for sure, but you can make strong cases for Davis and Hendry (and also Joe Davis, based on stats alone) for title of Best Ever. There were times that Steve & Stephen were as close to unbeatable as you can get.
When he is on top form I find it simply mesmerising watching him make a very difficult sport look so easy.
It's ridiculous. Nugget and Jimmy W will always be firm favourites from watching in my younger years, but Ronnie is on a different planet. Love watching him play.
Anyone watch Ronnie O'Sullivan's American Hustle? Very interesting basically him touring America learning the origins of Pool & hustling with a bit of history thrown.

Good stuff.
Have they got to the episode where he has his fingers broken in a downtown Detroit pool hall?

Yes, I watched this and enjoyed it too - someone above mentioned about him being a troubled soul. Probably not helped by his Dad being nick for a lot of his youth.
Quite an interesting bromance between him and Matt Smith, who appears to be the other end of the spectrum.
