Because in 1954 people weren't so anal and wound up by the naming of an award?

Froome has zero personality but the fact he isn't on the list is outrageous. Tour de France three times winner is better than the Kennys achivements put together. Track cycling is a niche sport which is why we clean up in it.

Watch this space, because from what I've heard is ready to hit the news, 'clean' probably isn't the right word to use...

Heard that too - more than a whiff of suspicion about the GB Olympic bike team.

How many more times? It's nothing to do with their personality.

WTF was going on with that Iceland chant? Hilarious, yes, but a bit cheeky. Notice the camera didn't show any of the England team when they panned round the crowd :)

"Taekwondo" is Korean for "f*cking boring arse-kicking competition".

Michael Phelps - 35th in the all-time national medal table. More medals than Jamaica have won. Insane, albeit slightly spoiled by the ridiculous over-representation of swimming in the medals count.

I have never understood his popularity in the UK. His unpopularity abroad is entirely understandable.

Brailsford up before Select Committee tomorrow (Monday 19th)

I wonder if we'll find out what was in Bradley's delivery?

Considering we have the most savage tabloid press in the world, would they not have been all over GB Cycling since Sydney?

Can only think they'd be worried about being sued if they misreported anything. Hopefully they'll be cleared, but it'll be a stain on British sport if it's proved they were dosing.

No it was truly inspirational with the likes of Sophie Christiansen, Kadeena Cox and Ben Smith.

Lovely tribute to the two Aldershot Athletic Club girls, Lucy Pygott and Stacey Burrows as well
