Re: Champions Trophy Cricket
Question has to be asked, why are we playing on a 'Pakistani like' pitch? Only England would throw away home advantage so easily. Not that it has made much difference so far, we have been poor all day.

Since 1992, I've never felt confident against Pakistan. They always seem to turn it on against us. But will this new England team just blow them away?

A great final - Pakistan have been excellent and looked nailed on winners. Totally, well deserved -great batting and bowling and nice to see one of the less 'fashionable' sides coming through.

Classic tournament play, did it when it matters. Stuffed England and India in the space of a few days.

Remarkable turnaround from their opening match, where they looked hopeless.
I thought Amir's bowling spell up front was sensational and his 3 wickets pretty much ended the content.

Good day at the Oval yesterday , Pakistan played to their maximum , bowled well, batted as well as they could and India simply didn't turn up .
Great atmosphere for this form of cricket .

I agree. Swinging it in the first over. Great to see.SpongeBob's Pants wrote:I thought Amir's bowling spell up front was sensational and his 3 wickets pretty much ended the content.

India cricket fans are up there with Liverpool Football and NZ Rugby fans in being entitled c-wombles with a superiority complex. Lovely to see them taken down by a team they hate.

100% agreed on the superiority complex. They are some of the worst sporting fans going.Big George wrote:
