MotoGP 2018

Post by szola »

It's finally kicking off!

:scarfer:

Marquez and Rossi signing new deals, the Ducati having an additional factory bike, KTM and Suzuki continuing to spend their way further up the field and a fresh group of rookies.

This is lining up to be a good season.

Yeah, shame the Beeb lost rights to BT sport. Use to love watching it live, hopefully Ch5 will have highlights again.

Bit of a Ducati fan so Dovi/Lorenzo for me.

Find Rossi a tit to be honest.

The Ducati-s had a poor start and finish last season, otherwise they've had their best championship attempt since Stoner won their only title.

Must say that I've been very disappointed in Lorenzo's performance. He buckled under pressure far too easily.

I believe that Petrucci is also on a factory bike this season, making them a trio for the first time.

I'm especially looking forward to seeing how KTM perform. And Morbidelli.

Don't think Rossi can claim his tenth this season. I do enjoy watching him ride. He is so professional, smooth.

After that qualifying, with all the expectations, the race managed to deliver, so why isn't MotoGP the racing series??

Cruchclow wins, and has he said in the post race interview, this race was his for the taking. He now leads the series

Apart from Suzuki, three of the front four were Non-Factory teams. First time ever?

Will be interesting to see how the offical body reacts to Marquez's ride. He was a nutta after given a ride through penalty.

Just watched the highlights, great race, Cruchclow was brilliant.

Marquez proving there is a fine line between genius and wildness.

Who can stop Marc now, apart from himself?

Marquez maturing each season, making him an unstoppable rider if the other teams can't find a bike that is both better at breaking and more stable on the turn.

Good to see Dovi win again, and Ducati doing the double.
Guessing they are a bit annoyed with themselves for letting Lorenzo go. The little change on his bike with the paddings on the tank, seemes to have made a bit difference.

Next weekend is the Red Bull Ring and I'll be ringside 8-)
Can't wait to hear the roars!

Is it the end of Silverstone as a MotoGP track?
Massively disappointed how rain could end this race before it got started.
Now Marquez is set to retain his title, and if Yamaha doesn't get their act together, I can't see Dovi being consistent enough and Petrucci being calm enough to make Marquez sweat.

Saw that incident, live albeit on BT sports.... Shocking.
Crutchclow was right, he should be banned. By the looks of it, his career in MotoGP is over.

The championship has been decided in the summer, the last couple of rounds were just a showcase for the unique talent of Marquez. Can only see him stopped if Dovi continues to develop his bike in the same tempo as the last two seasons.

Yamaha woefully long way behind the rest. They need to re-group, just as they've done.
