Regular season is over. Playoffs begin this week. I should feel good about the Lightning having the best record in the Eastern Conference but somehow I fear an early exit. They've been way to inconsistent recently. I wonder if the Las Vegas Golden Knights can keep it up.

Looks like the Capitals are beginning their annual Stanley Cup choke a little early this year. Down 2-0 to Columbus in the 1st Round.

Lightning dropped a game last night to the Devils but I'm still thinking we win in 5.

In the West the upstart Las Vegas Knights v the Winnipeg Jets (Canada's last hope)

In the East the Tampa Bay Lightning v the Washington Capitals (the perennial choke artists)

I'm predicting a Winnipeg v Tampa Bay final. I think Las Vegas' mojo will run out.

After going down 0-2, both home losses, against the Capitals I thought the Lightning were done. Not so fast, Tampa win 2 in Washington and travel back to Tampa tied 2-2.

Stanley Cup final almost set. Las Vegas Golden Knights (expansion team) vs the winner of tomorrow night's Lightning v Capitals game 7. Let's go Tampa.
