These semis have been crackers, after the disappointment of the QFs (Trump/Weasel aside).

Williams and Hawkins semi was a classic and could have gone either way but Williams' class and experience just got him over the line. The best match of the tournament and some of Williams potting was phenomenal. Hoping he takes Higgins to the cleaners.

Got a bit twitchy when 7-7 but glad to see Williams take the last 3 frames to stretch his lead again.
10-7 is a decent lead to protect but like him or loathe him and I know most on here hate him, but one thing Higgins is not, is a quitter. He never knows when he is beaten and will fight all the way. However, I am convinced this is Williams' year and the Welsh potting machine will win today, or at least I bloody well hope he does.

Really want Williams to win this.
Got a ticket today for a 1st session qtr final next year for me and my old man. He is currently having treatment for cancer and thought this would give him a lift. He's always watched the snooker as have I and I can't wait to actually get him to the Crucible for a taster. A nice thing to look forward to. We all need a bit of that.
