Some achievement though from Williams, winning it 15 years after his last World title. To think he had to be talked out of retirement by his wife.

Fantastic final and the result I wanted.
Fair play to Higgins though, he battled all the way and was gracious in defeat but so pleased for Mark Williams, a great champion.

There's an interview on the BBC where John Higgins says he's lost his appetite for Snooker. Hopefully that means he'll give up soon and won't make an appearance at Sheffield next April. We can live in hope.
