Francesco Molinari

Post by Hammers1man »

Just thought I'd bring this up as he is a big West Ham fan. He was superb at Wentworth in May and is playing some fantastic golf to totally dominate at Avenal this weekend

I wonder if this thread wil! get moved or even shut down.
I wonder if someone will humorously start the counting down thing.
I wonder why this thread was ever started.

Not being a follower of golf (I presume that's right), I thought for a moment that this was a new unknown Italian signing, which had, like the other thread I've been following suggests, come out of the blue.

I was a bit disappointed to say the least :)

He has certainly raised his game in last 6 months or so, after an average couple of years. Left his brother behind

Will be a strong addition to the Ryder Cup team

We are actively seeking a new striker.

Wonder can he play...in the hole. :)

My concerns would be his loyalty - he changes clubs far to often for my liking.

He’d suit our formation to a tee

Shame he's not English, we could do with him for potential penalty shootouts - he's excellent at taking panenka penalties, a superb chipper of the ball

A true champion. Up against the likes of Rory, Speith, Tiger he outplays the lot of them and wins the open. Solid performer.

One of the nice guys apparently, great to see him win, no dropped shots for over 2 rounds I believe, that is the way to win a links course, superb play
