Gone for the home advantage and golf course knowledge to prevail. Think it could end with just a point between both teams but as I have picked six European players I've gone for a two point winning margin for Europe...

Anyone with Fleetwood or Molinari has got to be happy after today.

An emphatic victory for the Europeans that few could have believed before the start of the tournament. Yanks had the better side on paper but were blown away, starting with Friday's whitewash in the foursomes and carrying on from there. A great win on a great course and I very much enjoyed it.
Now, down to business.
No-one predicted the correct score, in fact only a few bet on the Europeans at all. Molinari was the star of the show on the European side, with a staggering 5 points from 5 on his debut. Closely followed by Justin Thomas and Tommy Fleetwood, who also had superb weeks. These three players were the difference for our predictors...
In reverse order:
3rd place - 229 points - Johnzo
2nd place - 230 points - MonkeyMike
and our runaway winner, with 247 points, was Davids Cross . Molinari as captain gave up 76 points, and having Thomas and Fleetwood settled it. That pre-tournament optimism was justified! Well done DC.
Final placings:
247 - Davids Cross
230 - Monkey Mike
229 - Johnzo
226 - Polaroid
222 - Clactonammer
213 - Row X
212 - WivenhoeTim
208 - CRFC Hammer
207 - psychoscoredthelot
206 - AberdeenHammer, Rio, Westhameggyandchips
205 - Smuts
203 - Mumbles87
201 - SoulCircus
196 - PabloJaye
193 - CockneyBoy311
183 - NtHammer, CrouchendHammer
167 - Johnny Byrne's Boots
159 - ChickenRunSupreme
Thanks once again to all for playing. Will be back next year for the Masters...
