Re: Ryder Cup Prediction Comp
You know that bit where the BBC cut away to the engraver who is putting the winners name on the Open Championship trophy.....
Well, he's already started engraving my name on this trophy.......and I haven't even made my picks yet...

Re: Ryder Cup Prediction Comp
The US haven't won the Ryder Cup on European soil since 1993. However i think that 25 year wait will be over. It will be close though.

Re: Ryder Cup Prediction Comp
Thanks Souly for doing this again. I really hope I'm wrong and I will be cheering Europe all the way, but I rather fear that the septics will have too much in the tank (no pun intended!) and will get their first away win since 1993. I don't think the choice of venue will inspire the European team as much as previous venues and this is a very strong USA team with 11 of their 12 inside the World Top 20 compared to 6 out of European team in the Top 20. I know, rankings don't mean everything and historically, the Europeans have punched above their weight and pull together as a team better, but something just tells me this could end up a spanking. As said, I do hope I am completely wrong.
