Re: Boxing thread
Takam gets knocked down, gets up and promptly gets knocked down straight away. Credit to Del...thought he was gone at the end of the first, having been on the ropes and under all sorts of pressure.

There's a lot to be said for a low cost stable IPTV service.

Re: Boxing thread
You have a p.m Algarve.
Found a stable stream, east European commentary is hilarious!
Cagey start...Parker down, looked like a slip though. End of the second, clash of heads in that round too.

Re: Boxing thread
Another excellent fight. I have no idea how Parker got up from that knock down, amazing finish but Parker just didn't do enough.

Re: Boxing thread
I mean this stating the obvious when looking at the likes of Joshua, Floyd, Pacquaio, Whyte, Fury, Khan

Re: Boxing thread
Boxing on Saturday: Windsor Park, Belfast - Tyson Fury v Francesco Pianeta (heavyweight), Carl Frampton v Luke Jackson (featherweight), Cristofer Rosales v Paddy Barnes (flyweight). Live on BT Sport.
A rather underwhelming card in all from Frank Warren though I’m sure Frampton will get rousing support in Belfast. Fury has some curiosity value and Rosales is a young WBC World Champion who might be worth seeing. The rest of the card is not for me.

Re: Boxing thread
Rosales looks useful, won by a KO in the 4th, a vicious body shot. He was a class above Barnes, had won the first three rounds in my book.
Fury wins on points, won all ten rounds. Rounds in the bank for Fury, untroubled by Pianeta. He has lost some more weight but is still looking a bit flabby, another stone off should do it.

Re: Boxing thread
Frampton wins TKO in the ninth after Jackson’s corner throws in the towel. Thought Frampton controlled the fight beautifully, won every round.

Exactly that.Morocco Mole wrote:Fury clearly planned to do all ten rounds and looked fit and light on his feet.
In regards to the Wilder fight, Furys biggest strength is his anticipation and movement to not get hit meaningfully. If he loses 10-15lbs more I'm confident that he will go the distance with Wilder and maybe even KO him late on if the Bronze Bummer gets desperate and gasses out. By round eight I reckon Fury will be 6-2 up, all he has to do is avoid getting hit cleanly by one of those quite frankly bizarre wild chopping swings to the top of the head. Average boxers have been out boxing Wilder until one of those bonkers swings land.

Andrew Selby got up from an early knockdown to school Rosales and coast to victory, he'd do it again, no question.York Ham(mer) wrote:Rosales looks useful, won by a KO in the 4th, a vicious body shot. He was a class above Barnes, had won the first three rounds in my book.
