Gutted for Chocolatito, I thought he won the first one but on Saturday he was overpowered, he looked like he was crying after.

He got absolutely battered on Saturday. It was a shame to see but the Thai lad looked very good.

He needs to drop backdown, clearly not big enough on Saturday. The first fight was one he didn't deserve to lose though. Gutted for him as I rated him very highly but I think he's finished now, the look on his face when he was dropped looked like someone who has lost the fire.

Gutted for him, but he has nothing to be ashamed of. What an amazing career he has had stacked full of achievements

I am buzzing for GGG Canelo this weekend. Loving all the HBO build-up (easily found on YouTube). Nobody comes close to them in quality for building these fights. I was convinced GGG beats him, but now find myself less sure and think Canelo might take it on points. I would love for GGG to win, he through no fault of his own is missing that career defining fight.

A pretty rare occasion I set my alarm 4.30am for these fights, but will make an exception this weekend :scarfer:

Watch GGG vs Lemeiux, that's how I see it going, maybe a round or two longer, GGG will be like a caged animal, I can't wait.

I've seen it, and would say there is little to no comparison to how Canelo GGG will play out

I don't know, Canelo is not going to enjoy someone so willing to come forward, when he does his gas out on the ropes thing (Trout, Lara fights, which he probably should have lost) he'll come unstuck, and, given the extra muscle he's put on, he will almost certainly need to go to the ropes for a breather. Lemeiux took his punches for long enough but eventually caved, Canelo has more about him but ultimately I see this fight panning out in a similar way.

BJS labours to another points win, Golovkin murdered Monroe Jr, after he's beaten Alvarez he'll do the same to BJS I expect.

Anyone see Smith V's Skogland? Cracking fight, judges got it well wrong as there was no way that was a 117-110 fight. IT was tight (IMHO) until Smith put him down to a knee in the 11th. Smith won but not by 7 points that's for sure.

Skogland look a decent fighter - a few more fights under his belt at super middle and he could develop substantially.

I thought Skoglund looked decent, he had to lose a lot of weight and I think that may have had something to do with how he fought, Smith did well but needs to improve if he's going to win it.

Canelo really is a physiological freak. He even looks huge against GGG! Great start from ginge but I still fancy the Kazakh as it goes on. Ballooning up and down 30 pounds ain't the same as just being a natural middle.

Golovkin is a ****ing machine. A real life Ivan Drago. Canelo is throwing the kitchen sink at him and he just walks through it. Frightening. Can't remember another fighter like him.

Not sure about that. I think Canelo's made it pretty close which is an incredible achievement in itself. In fact I take back everything I've ever said about the kid. Incredible effort whatever the result.
