I am not sure if i want another foreign investor or sugar daddies that has no connection and no loyalty to the club. However we can all agree upon that we really do need new investors. West Ham is in serious finical problem such as estimated £100 million dept and possible £140 million bill if we decided to move to the Olympic Stadium(with no running track or movable stand or track) or just build a new £ 200 million stadium own by the fans. Here is my idea that i got from initially(Share Liverpool idea) We looked to raise from 100,000 West Ham fans who would pay from £5,000 to £1000 for a share is the best way forward, as it ensures a much broader base of fans can get involved. The proposal is designed to achieve:
* 50% Fan ownership of West Ham Utd and the biggest shareholder.
* One member: one vote for a vice chairman
* The fan groups are looking to raise £250 million from West Ham fans to would acquire a 50% interest in the Club by clearing up the £100 million dept and raise fund for a new stadium own by the fans.

The remaining 50% will be own by Sullivan and Gold however if they want they could bring in more investors who ideally would be West Ham supporters(any idea guys) to invest in the club so it can complete against the big clubs in the player market.

The additional money coming into the Prem for TV rights abroad, mentioned on another thread, will spark a lot of investor interest as well as sponsors etc......it all hinges on survival and who wants it most. S**t or bust it is then..

Two birds getting killed with one stone .

Sullivan won't be slagging off the players on SSN , and they may dredge up some investment . Who knows ? The problem for G& S, given their insistence on retaining control , the other investors, Arab or otherwise are paying a lot of money for something that won't generate a profit to produce a dividend , without he buzz of saying "I own that" ( which may justify a vanity investment) .

Seriously , whats in it for them ?

Naming rights over the Olympic Stadium no less and sponsership deals too.
In short association with potentially the most prestigious stadium in the world's greatest capital city.
You know it makes sense.....

i didn't realize the old West Ham Stadium had a capacity over 80k. That could have saved a lot of messing around!

Not to dash anyone's hopes or anything ... but Dubai is practically as bust as Iceland. Hard to imagine that the Daves will have any more luck getting cash out of there than Mike Ashley, or Hicks and Gillett, both of whom have also been on the Dubai trail ... But who knows? At this club, anything is possible ...

I would have though G&S's porn background would have been a bit of a stumbling block in attracting investors from Dubai, if people get locked up for just kissing in the street can't see them being to quick to jump into bed (Pardon the pun!!) with 2 porn barons.

I think the point is that Dubai is the playground and safest, most luxurious venue used in the ME by all the money-men from whatever part of the region they hail.
It would be the most obvious venue to conduct any business in the ME, regardless of the origins of the party(s) concerned. No reason to think that potential investors are from Dubai, just ragheads in general.

Lets just hope the two Dave's don't get all pissed up after a few bubbly's and start having a replica love truncheon dildo fight over Brady's baps. That'll be one heck of a sentence.

Yeah, I didn't think Brady was that bad... no one deserves that.
