That's of 'Fortress Upton Park'.
I only go to the new version because of the times I had under that South Bank roof.
*sigh*

The lesser spotted Richard Hall? related to the even lesser spotted Simon Webster of the era?

Was it not the Alvin Martin testimonial??? They wore specially made Bobby Moore memorial game shirts for the one you mentioned.

I don't remember McManaman playing in the Bobby Moore Memorial Match. Besides, that's the Chicken Run behind isn't it and that was empty for that game IIRC.

Yeah...that's right. The memory is going now!
I know I went to the Bobby Moore one and I honestly can't remember if I went to Stretch's testimonial.

Its from, I believe the Alvin testimonial.
I am assuming that Macmanaman got a call because they are fellow Mickeys.

Me too...I just keep looking at it remembering where I used to stand (to the left of the goal as you look at it in the section of the stand underneath the sign...
Remember it like it was yesterday (especially the Hull 7-1 game)..
What time of year was that pic taken? Looks like one of those lovely warm hazy days I relate to my youth

Anyone else find this thread curiously depressing?
Still, at least we've got, er, mobiles these days.
