Re: The Board (a poll)
I'm really undecided and so i'll give the benifit of the doubt. If the rumours are correct (normally their not) he could've sold up, hasn't he has spent a lot of money and also lost a lot of money.. Will he let another investment go up against the wall? i don't think he will...
The 'board' i have my worries.

Re: The Board (a poll)
Initially with the takeover like most of us I was very optimistic, now I couldn't be more pessimistic. And it's no reflection on Curbs and Zola by the way.

Re: The Board (a poll)
Whether we have Curbs, Zola or Scolari the fact is if the board keep asset stripping us and undercutting the manager we are going to struggle.
The squad at the moment looks too lightweight and weak in key areas and without the right investment we'll be lucky to survive this season yet alone next.
After all Eggy's promises and crazy deals and the current climate I can't see BG delivering.
BG out.

Voted unsure. I think that it is unlikely but as the general economic situation is so unsure at this time it would be unwise to be so certain. The world is likely to be a very different place in a few years time.

I said i'm unsure, i'm unhappy with several decisions they've made, but I don't know their real plan, it's all just heresay, isn't it?

I voted no. As my previous posts will show i'm not a fan of the current board at all for many many reasons but keeping Duxbury on board - it beggars belief.

'Success' what a c*nt of a word that is, it's ruined football and is the process of ruining this clubs support, just go to a home game for proof.

Voted unsure too. Who is to say without the crash, how much the Icelandics would has been prepared to invest in us. In the current climate I don't think many boards will be seeking to invest massively in January.Mad Professor wrote:Voted unsure. Also having a pop at someone trying to keep hold of an asset is a claret and blue tinted view regardless if there is no money to spend - what makes you think any owner has a god given right to have to spend money?

Re: The Board (a poll)
Unsure. Had high hopes when they came in and said all the right things. I wouldn't want a board that just pumps endless money into the club so their attitude of making the club profitable as a going concern was right for me but it just seems that you've gotta spend every opportunity you get just to keep the pace. Something Terry Brown learned too late, I hope this lot can learn it a bit faster.

Re: The Board (a poll)
Would it be churlish to point out that when a handful of us were saying no this very question 18 months ago we were all but burnt at the stake for heresy?
I guess it would be, so I won't!

I'm struggling to think of anything they've got right really. Maybe being embattled on every side is their style or something, but I don't like it personally.

Hired Curbs, invested in the squad to save us from relegation, invested again to consolidate our position in the league.QuintonNimoy wrote:I'm struggling to think of anything they've got right really. Maybe being embattled on every side is their style or something, but I don't like it personally.
However their ineptitude far outweighs their successes. So that's a No for me.
