Unfortunately a lot of our support is apathetic, a protest would be great as it would show heart and passion.

It's not the first time though, the members of WHISTLE tried and faced financial ruin but had little support from their fellow supporters.

CB Holdings don't care about you, they care more for their creditors. They spin, they lie, they are men trying to save a banking institution and not West ham utd.

The staff are angry, former players that care angry, now it's time for the people who count to show their feelings.

Apparently the club were acting like a bloke at a car boot sale who has an hour left.

Prices were tumbling on all the goods and not choosy about who buys.

Better kiss January goodbye too.

It does beg the question will the bank cut its losses if we are in Danger of relegation and increase the debt by investing, or keep the overall debt low and risk relegation?

After all Newcastle may still sell for £100 mill

Personally I would take relegation and/or a ten point hit to be rid of CB Holdings/Duxbury etc etc.

without going into too much detail, we offered Upson, Faubert and Spector to clubs in the last hour of Deadline day.

I have previously stated my source.

Harry's initial quote was "it was something that was put to us".

He didn't deal with it, Daniel Levy did. So it sounds like we went straight to him.

Or Upson was being shopped around by his agent.

That's what he said about the Anton - Hutton deal, he said they made an inquiry about Upson but didn't bother anymore after the price

The quotes on Sky, which I'm trying to find, applied "it was something that was put to us" to Upson. He commented that Anton was never a runner.

I can't find the quotes either rather annoyingly but 99% sure that's what was said.

video is here, he says that the Anton Ferdinand deal was something that was put to him and Levy made enquiries about Upson but it was never going to happen.

To clear this up, when Sky first showed the 'interview' with Redknapp in his car it was cut so that the comment Matt quoted was broadcast immediately after the Upson quote. This wasn't the case when it (a re-edited version) was later broadcast, at which point it became clear that the comment related to Anton Ferdinand, as Matt correctly points out.

Bristol - how does your source explain Upson (etc) still being here on September 1st in that case? I assume they're not suggesting the decision was made on the morning of the deadline?

i`m inclined to agree with both these posts.what`s the point in being in the premiership if you aint got a pot to piss in and cant invest and improve a team?

does anyone have any idea when the "front of a butchers apron" accounts will come out, and we can see in all our glory what a fabulous job our fearless duxbury has done in running the club for the past four or so year - blowing millions on....nothing? And no doubt paying himself £500K plus a year.

If we did nothing else as a group of fans we should at least try and make our club obey the rule of law, albeit accounting law...after all, scotty boy, what have you got to hide?!
