If Gold gets it I don't see that he will be able to just sack Zola - one it will piss a lot of fans off and two we will lose Clarke too.
Hughes is a failure at the moment even with a large cheque book. Zola, however, has had to make do with players being sold off and injuries to both main strikers - so his record is superior. I think he's safe whilst we are moving away from relegation.

Sign the Keep Zola petition
Hi all, Like most of you, I suspect, I am horrified by the seemingly well founded rumours that several of the bidders for West Ham intend to dispose of Zola and Clarke as soon as they take over the club.
It's important that we let them know that we fans would view that scenario with undisguised horror.
