Re: Don't sack Zola
My issue is with Zola that he allowed us to come into this season with ONE established PL striker as he must have known that Ashton was f*cked (if not, he should have....he admitted that he couldn't even run now).
He should have spent more time sorting a deal for another striker than fannying about with Mancini for months on end, planning the team around a pile of ***** in "the wizard" and spending wedge on Diamanti......who looks the part when we get a penalty if he isn't on the bench.

ESPN are now stating that an "insider" close to Sullivan and Gold say that the sacking of Zola is "not necessary the case" - I just wish the take over matter would be resolved once and for all!

Re: Don't sack Zola
I usually have a valid reason for disliking a manager/former player.smuts wrote:Yet Cardiff you've called Curbs a c*** on here....so I wonder how you would react if he made a return to the ground?
As i said before i wont repeat why i dislike Curbs.Mainly for his spending spree & the style of football under his management.Plus another 4/5 things.
But i sense Zola was hated by a minority before he even started the job.Bit like a Gary Megson at Bolton, hated whatever he done. The view is alot dislike Zola for is ex-Chelski links & cos he waved/send some nice comments about Chelsea when we played them.So f**king what???I dont give a flying f**k what he says about them. He's our manager & we're seeing progress under the bloke.Maybe not now but long term i see him being a top top manager.
As i said theres 101 examples where an ex-player/manager has clapped his former supporters, made a gesture or just some some decent comments about his former club. Why are we different? Why are we holding a grudge against a bloke that wants to do his best for WHUFC???

If by one of us they mean someone who hasn't got a clue about managing a top flight football club, they're spot on.

You are Trap1 and i claim my porno mag.iaindale wrote:Hi all, Like most of you, I suspect, I am horrified by the seemingly well founded rumours that several of the bidders for West Ham intend to dispose of Zola and Clarke as soon as they take over the club.
It's important that we let them know that we fans would view that scenario with undisguised horror.
If you agree, please do sign an online petition I have launched on my blog, West Ham Till I Die. The direct link to sign the petition is

Re: Sign the KEEP ZOLA Petition
Considering Scott's allegedly the one spreading the rumours that have led to this situation, I very much doubt it.
Vaguely interesting thing I just found out regarding Zola. If you type Gianfranco Zola in full into the main search box on Google, the first search option that comes up is "Gianfranco Zola brothel" - over 1,000 search results apparently

Re: Don't sack Zola
I think you are over egging the pudding a bit Cardiff...........I can probably think of about 2 posters on here who have c*nted off Zola because he's ex Chelski on a consistent basis.
The other naysayers are more likely to slate him due to the signings that have come in under his reign, the formations he plays, substitutions, etc.
But I agree.......sacking him would be a joke.........but he needs to start improving on all of the above and fast.

Have you now deteriorated to such a degree that you think everything that happens is a result of Duxbury's meddling?Trap1 wrote:Dear Iain,
Did Scott ask you to set this up?
Trap
Just have an image of you lying awake in bed for the third sleepless night and gasping, "I swear that ornament was five centimetres to the left five minutes ago. Oh, this is Duxbury's doing and make no mistake. It's a good job I can see through his lies or he'd kill us all."

Re: Sign the KEEP ZOLA Petition
How sad the Few have to bring into question someones sexuality about WE WANT TO KEEP ZOLA! what sad lives you must lead, all that counts is Our Club and as far as I am concerned we have never had discrimination about anyone.
Anyway back to the Thread, we want to keep ZOLA! and an "insider" for Gold & Sullivan has told ESPN it is "not necessary the case" that Zola will be sacked!
The media seem to love to all attack us, about time we stuck together, it does not mean we always have to agree about Football that is!
