I agree with your sentiments. I hope this consensus that he is a solid defender turns out to be true. Whether Grant can start to turn our defence into a solid unit over the next few weeks or not really could be the making or breaking of our season. Without a solid defence, our attack will suffer due to chasing games, midfield focused on helping defenders, lack of confidence and attackers lacking service. With a solid defence, the reverse is true, and would actually allow players like Barerra, Dyer and Obinna to flourish.
